Mr. Katna has served for 10 years in a premier intelligence agency of the Government of India and entrusted with the responsibility of counter intelligence and security of the organisation with particular reference to perimeter security, personnel security, documents security and related aspects. As Joint Secretary (Security), he was responsible for the organisational interface with Ministry of Defence, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Civil Aviation, BCAS and Secretary Security. He was co-opted as member of Crisis Management Group looking after the security of sensitive atomic/ nuclear and industrial sectors. |

Major General Chandra worked as a General Officer in the top executive management of the Indian Army. He is an accomplished equipment management expert having held the appointment of Additional Director General Equipment Management, Indian Army. He has been actively involved in design, development and in service management of all army equipment including; AFVs, Guns, AD Wpn Systems, Special Engineer Equipment, Heptr, weapons, UAVs etc. He has been responsible for coordinated activities of Army, DRDO, DGQA and military equipment manufacturers from India and friendly countries. He has over 37 years experience in leadership and management of HR, finances, logistics and equipment with core competencies in improvisation, out of box thinking, team building, project management and training. He has been honoured by the President of India and twice by the Chief of Army Staff for distinguished service. He has held diplomatic assignment as Deputy Military Attache (Technical), Embassy of India, Moscow, Russia for over three years. |

Maroof Raza has lectured extensively in India and abroad on a range of issues related to India's security concerns. He is well known across India, for his television appearances on India's leading television channels as an expert on Military and Security matters. Maroof has authored several articles, essays and two books; "Low-Intensity Conflicts: The new dimension to India's military commitments" and "Wars and no Peace over Kashmir" and has edited a book titled "Generals and Governments in India and Pakistan". As the General Editor of Military Affairs series of Har Anand Publications, since 2001, he has edited nine volumes as part of this series. He has written editorials for all the leading newspapers of India. He is currently compiling a volume on India's experience with Terrorism for Penguin books India, as the anthology's editor. His postgraduate qualifications include an M.A. in War Studies from King's College, London and M.Phil in International Relations from Darwin College, Cambridge University. In 1994, he was awarded the Times of India Fellowship, and he has held Visiting Fellowships at the Centre for Policy Research, Delhi, at the Henry L. Stimson Centre, Washington and at the War Studies Department of King's College, London.. Between 1998 and 2007, Maroof was a Visiting Professor at Middlesex University and its Regional Director (South Asia). |

Cmde (Retd) Ranjit Rai is a Navigator and Air Force trained Air Controller. He has attended Yarrow Shipyard, HMS Dryad and RN Staff College, UK and has commanded 3 ships and India’s Naval Academy. He has also served as Director Operations (DNO) and Intelligence (DNI) at NHQ and as Defence Adviser in the Indian High Commission, Singapore and South East Asia for 4 years with visits to Australia, USA and China. Additionally, he has completed the Ship Management Course at IIM Ahmedabad, and served as the Indian Rep for USA’s largest LASH Project carrier Waterman Steam Ship Corporation till 2003, which also had ships leased to US Military Sea Lift Command. Presently, he is the Vice President at Indian Maritime Foundation, an NGO which deals with Maritime and Security issues. Cmde Ranjit Rai is also the author of four books including a 'Nation and Its Navy at War' besides being a Defence Analyst and Broadcaster. He has been a Speaker on maritime, military, nuclear and energy issues. |

Former Special Director, IB (Govt. of India)
Graduating from Calcutta Presidency College, D.C. Nath (1960-IPS) superannuated as Special Director, Intelligence Bureau, Govt. of India, in 1995. He has been the recipient of Indian Police Medal for meritorious service and Presidents’ Police Medal for distinguished services, he is currently the President & Director General in the International Institute of Security and Safety Management (IISSM), headquartered in New Delhi, India. The author of a highly acclaimed book: “Intelligence Imperatives of India”, Nath is considered a security ideologue and is a visiting faculty to various Institutes and Academies as also corporate houses, covering different aspects of industrial security management. His name figures in the American Police Hall of Fame, a Trust of the US National Association of Chiefs of Police. Nath combines the experience of a police officer with specialisation in intelligence and strategic analysis and is an industrial security expert par excellence. |

Former Joint Commissioner of Police for the New Delhi Range of the Capital City Known for his no-nonsense approach to curbing anti-social elements and rioters and for bringing order to chaotic conditions on city roads in Delhi, Pereire belongs to the Union Territories Cadre of the prestigious Indian Police Service (IPS). He has worked with the Delhi, Sikkim, Mizoram and Pondicherry police in various capacities, specialising in criminology, administration, police community relations, traffic management/road safety, and in management of public offices, productivity and personnel. He has attended seminars and conferences in various parts of the world, visiting the countries of Japan, Singapore, the U.K., Canada, the U.S.A., France and elsewhere. Called the 'High Profile Cop' of the Delhi Police, Pereira's nigh thirty-five year career as a police officer has been littered with laurels, he has nine national and four regional awards adorning the lapel of his uniform, making him one of the most highly decorated police officers in India. Also a thoroughbred field officer with a reputation for taking the bull by the horns, he is the recipient of the Indian Police Medal for Gallantry (1979), the Police Medal for Meritorious Services (1987) and the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Services (1995). |
